It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog - Challenge 5 - Tina's Sketch

This is the Sketch hch Tina has designed for us over on the challenge blog. She wanted us to use a blue theme.
Here is the card I have made. I used the boy's cd (or Guy's as it is sometimes called) for the papers and topper.

The brads I have customised by changing the colour, by dipping them in embossing powder and heating. I love doing this with brads when I don't have the right colour for my project.

Thanks for looking

It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog - Challenge 4 Christine's Sketch

Well I thought I would never be able to get this posted as I have no internet as my provider change over isn't going very smoothly. I have had to come to my mam's to do this today. It's amazing how much you miss your internet when you haven't got it lol. I am glad I have got my blackberry as have been able to keep upto date witha few things.

On with this weeks challenge. Chriustine has designed our sketch for the challenge blog this week and she wanted us to use ribbon and brads on the card too.

Here is her sketch:

And my card. As you can see I have used popcorn the bear's brithday cd. Ribbon from dovecraft and brads/card from stash. Peel off's are craft creations and I have used Crafter's Companion, spray anmd sparkle on the main backing paper and spray and shine on the images/banner.

Blog Renovation

I have had to have a change of my blog background and header as I have had a few comments saying it is hard to read etc. I loved how Wendy had designed it but I have to listen to what my followers have to say. I have kept with the theme of black, white and red. I must admit it is easier to read things now it's a white background.

Sorry Wendy hope you don't mind.

Wendy's Crafter's Companion Forum Sketch 28

Hi this is the card I have ade for Wendy's Sketch 28 over on the Crafter's Companion Forum. I must say I love the luxury feel of the card. I have taken a few close up images of the sections of the card.
The butterflies are Craft Creations and I mounted them onto lilic pearl card and cut them out before adding to the card so that I could mould them so that they had some defination.

The backing card and medalion topper are from Card Craft Plus. Ribbon from Papermania.

I have decorated the inside With my Bearly Mine Designs - Designer Inserts Extreme.

It's a Crafter's Companion Challenge #3

Well it was Jane's turn to design the sketch for the challenge blog this time, this is what she came up with.

We had an open theme as long as we used Jems/Sparkle on the card. I decided to make a wedding card using the Spring Occassions CD. I have used gems and for added glitz sprayed the card with Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle Silver. Why not go over and check out our challenge blog It's a Crafter's Companion, we have a Popcorn the Bear Stamp up for grabs this time for a random winner.

Hugs Rachel xx
