Fathers Day Cards

Well I have used Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit Cd rom for these cards. Both Fathers Day cards. The first one was for my father. It's 8"x8" and has an a5 opening section. I have used gold mirror card and cream card stock. Ribbons for detail.

This one was for my Father in law. Again 8"x8" in size however it has the a5 opening section on the other side. Silver mirror and white card stock used on this occassion.

Christmas in August

Hi all I'm back again I've made my first card with the collection from Crafter's Companion designed by Stacey Barras. I have coloured the image using sparkle pens and added extra details with a white gel pen, glitter and gems. I'm really pleased with how it has turned out. That's it for this evening. Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made. I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night. This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter. Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture.
