Fabulous Fashion for a Fab Friend!!

Hi all I had a great night last night. We went out for a meal and few drinks to celebrate Gail and My 31st Birthdays. It was Gail’s birthday on the 7th and it’s mine on the 18th so we decided to have a combined celebration.   I made her a card and necklace and gave these to her last night. She loved them both.   This is the card I made using Katy Sue Designs and House of Zandra Fabulous Fashion CD .   This is the first card I have made using this cd. I have been wanting it for a while but eventually got it at The Great Northern Papercrafts Show last Sunday. I am really pleased with the results and Gail and the rest of the girls thought it was Fab too which I was pleased about.   Recipe   Papers and Topper – Katy Sue Designs and House of Zandra Fabulous Fashion CD Printing Card and Paper – House of Zandra Cream Paper and Card Pack Base Card - Cream Pearl Cardstock Mats – Burgundy Card From Paper Mill Direct Ribbon – Stash Glaze – Ranger Glossy Accents Glitter – Stic

New additions to the Darice Embossing folders range.

Hi all I wanted to share with you some cards I made with 3 of the latest Darice embossing folder launch. Firstly here’s some cards I made with the Grass folder.     I picked out the detail on the embossing with my Spectrum Noir pens. Matted onto some Core’dinations cardstock and gold mirror card. I have added a layer underneath which comprises of a core’dinations base, gold mirror card and ribbon from my stash. I have punched some butterflies out using my Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch . These have 3 layers each. The base card is an 8x8 scalloped card and I have matted onto this some of the Foiled acetate from the Toread Range from Crafter’s Companion . Finally I added a sentiment and some stickles glitter glue.   This card I have used a cream speckled a4 basecard folded into A5. Matted and layered using the smae cardstock and gold mirror card. I have created a embossed panel using the folder and highlighted the grass a bit more using distress ink. Added Ribbon and Pear
