Rachel's Cards and Crafts

  Hi all well have you seen some of the girls sneak peaks for the newest launch from Crafter’s Companion ? It’s the Crisalis Classics addition to the paintbox poppets range from Artist Christine Haworth.   Hi again I’m trying to get caught up showcasing the cards etc I have been making this past week and not blogged yet, hence the multiple posts in one night.   Right then for this post I have a couple of cards and a bracelet I made to say Thank You to some special people who have helped me these past few weeks.   Both have been made using the Paintbox Poppets Range from Crafter’s Companion .   Here’s the first card     It’s and 8x8 card base made using 16x16 Snow White Centura Pearl Cardstock from Crafter’s Companion . I then matted some backing paper from the Paintbox Poppets CD onto some gold mirror card. I have embossed some snow white centural pearl card with the a4 embossing folder which comes with the eBosser . I then chose one of my favourite images from the Diecut Decoupage pack and built up using collall glue gel . This is my card for Tuesday Morning Sketches . I loved this sketch but have adapted it slightly. I used the Paintbox Poppet Stamp from Crafter’s Companion which I coloured on Friday . I am really pleased with how this image has turned out. I used Spectrum Noir Pens and coloured pencils blended with Sansador. The backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppet CD and I have matted this onto Core’dinations card. I have used the same card to cut out my Marianne Die to mount the stamped image onto. I have used one of the 5x7 Darcie Embossing Folders from Crafter’s Companion to emboss some Snow White Centura Pearl Card which has then been matted onto silver Card Stock. My second post of today is another Paintbox Poppets card. I am in love with these adorable characters!!! This card I am entering into the Mojo Monday Challenge #232. The image is a Reddy die cut decoupage from Crafter’s Companion . This is my first make with the wonderful new range from Crafter’s Companion – Paintbox Poppets . I have used the Reddy Die Cut Decoupage and it’s so lovely to work with. I have decoupaged the image using Collall Glue Gel . The base card is an 8x8 scalloped card I have matted onto this some kraft card and then chosen 2 backing papers from the Paintbox Poppets cd rom. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls are from the Ribbon Box . I have added a ribbon strip which I have punched with my new Martha Stewart double-edge punch – Linked Trim, I have used a ribbon from the Ribbon Box within this. Finally I have used a Happy Mother’s Day Sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley . Thanks for stopping by Hugs xxx Rachel xxx
