Rachel's Cards and Crafts

Well here is my most recent order. The gentleman wanted 4 cards and had outilines for all. The first on is a bit of a joke card. The request for this card was black and white striped paper with the image of the the UK with Newcastle pinpointed on and not in Germany written beside it. He was sending this to a American friend who said that he did not speak English so must be from Germany. This card is a one for his sister's birthday. He wanted a army themed card and liked the idea of army teddies so I decided to used the Cuddly Buddly Military Bears download. I have made this into 8" square when closed and opens up to 16". I have used red holographic, red and cream card stocks. The papers are included within the download. The centre mat I have cut on my cuttlebug using my nestabilities. The next card I have made in the theme of the Italin flag and he wanted a heart in the centre with the text "Ti amo con tutta l'anima". This card is for his father he liked on...

Here are a few of the cards I have made recently. Hope youlike them I have used a range of cd's including tripple treasures, cute companions from crafters companion, various rubber stamps and embelishments.

On this challenge each month I set a list of features for a card to be designed using. This one was for bright colours, embossing (dry/heat) and gems. For my card I decided to use a paper from the Triple Treasures cd, embossed a panel on my cuttlebug and then used embellishment which had gems attatched to them. This was then finished off with a Happy Birthday sentiment.

Sketch 1 This is the first card from the sketch challenges on crafters comapanion. On the forum there are weekly sketches which illistrate a layout and we design a card from this. The papers used here are from the crafters companion floral cd. Sketch 2 The second week's card. This one is made using various embelishments, sticky ribbon, peel offs and the main circle was embossed with the cuttlebug. Sketch 3 Again the panels are embossed using the cuttle bug. I stamped an image of a dog and coloured using sakura pens and coloured pencils. The ribbon is a piece of sticky ribbon, I then added finishing touches with the cute embelishment and stamped a happy birthday sentiment. Sketch Card 4 With this card I decided to make an a4 card and used an image from the triple treasure cd rom and matted this onto a cuttlebug embossed pannel of white card. Well this is my first card for my blog. May's Cuddly Buddly sketch challenge. The image is from the Triple Treasures cd and I have used my cuttlebug to create a backing pannel. I finished this off by adding sentiments matted onto silve holigraphic card. I will try and add pictures of my creations as much as possible. Hope you like and thanks for looking
