Time Traveler Father's Day

Hi All I'm back again with another make for you.  Another card made with Sheen Douglass's Time Traveler collection. This one I've made for my Dad for Father's Day. I have created a background with the clock stamp and coloured in using aqua pens and a gold pen. I the die cut one of the clock faces and a cog. These have been attached the the background over one of the clocks with a brad. I added some gold gilding wax onto the clock face before attaching. I have used a matt of black card and then attached this onto a square card base.  The image I coloured with my spectrum noir pencils. I then cut this out on my scan and cut and shaped and mounted onto the card with glue gel.  Thank very much for stopping by. Rachel

Altered Vase

This is a vase I have altered using black pebeo gesso and gilding wax.  I won the bottle on a tombola last year and it wasn't my usual style however I decided to alter it and make it more to my tastes by painting it and adding silver gilding wax to it. I have left it mat but I am considering spraying it with the spray and shine. Thant's it for now with this post.  Thanks Rachel

Mermaid Frame

Hello All I'm back again, This time to share a frame with you that I have created for my Niece.  The image was coloured in using my Spectrum Noir markers using the May 17 Markers Class from Kit and Clowder. This is the first one of their classes I've done and I was overall I was quite happy with it but I know a few areas where I could improve. Right then here's the coloured image.  The image is by Conie Fong and you can purchase them on Etsy. She has lots of other lovely images to choose from. Right then now for the completed frame. The frame started as a white frame which I painted with black gesso and then once dry added colour to it using dyna paints from pebeo and then some silver gilding wax. I then sprayed the frame to form a protective coating with Spray and Shine from Crafter's Companion.  I love how it have turned out and hope that my niece will too.  Right I'm going to enter this into the following challenges:

A few more cards

Hi all I'm back sharing a few more cards. Since my last post unfortunately I ended up with another hospital admission and this time it took me a little while before I felt well enough to be able to do some more crafting. The first two cards I made before being unwell last Monday and Tuesday (then I became unwell and didn't get posted) and then the final two I have made today.  Well here they are Card 1   This first card is another of the my bestie images I coloured and had to make into a card. I added a bit of sparkle onto it and some gem embellishments.    Card 2 This card features a Sheena Douglas stamp which I coloured with my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers. I'm pleased with how she turned out. The Backing is made from a CRafter's Companion Rose Embossing folder and I used the faux leather technique on it. Adding various distress inks and some gold guilding wax. Card 3 This card features one of the new Donna Ratcliff
