Rachel's Cards and Crafts

Hi all I was asked to make some samples for Sheena Douglas for her shows on Create and Craft using the new range of Darcie Embossing folders which can be purchased from Crafter’s Companion . I had the Birch Tree and Flames Folder to use. I have made 6 samples in total. The first three are made using the Birch Tree Folder. Here’s the first one: I have used one of the Die’sire Dies from Crafter’s Companion and created a posy using some flowers and leaves from my stash of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers range. I have used ribbon and pearls from the ribbon box . The base card is a 5x7” scalloped edge from Papermania. I finally gave a the whole card a spray with Crafter’s Companion Spray and Sparkle Pink.   Here’s my second card: For this card I embossed some Core’dinations card stock and then gently rubbed over it with my silver ink it up pad and then sprinkled some snowflake sparkle heat it up embossing powder on. The second post of today is a Wedding Card I have made. I have used on of the decoupage toppers from the Crafter’s Companion Humphrey’s Corner CD. The decoupage has been built up using Collall Glue Gel . I have used 3 backing papers and a ribbon strip from the cd as well as some Core’dinations for the different layers on the card. The core’dinations has been embossed using a Darcy Embossing folder. I have added a couple of details by using flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls from The Ribbon Box . As well as adding a final touch using Star Dust Stickles. I am entering this card into the following challenges: There’s Magic in The Air Hope you like xx Rachel xx

Hi all this is a card I have just finished this morning. I have used my adorable Humphrey’s Corner CD from Crafter’s Companion . I decided to choose one of the frame cards as I hadn’t made a one for a while. I just love this adorable image, they all look like there having so much fun at the party!!! I have matted the base onto some red cardstock, then matted onto coordinations card stock from the brights pad. I then chose a backing paper from the cd. I have also included an insert in the matching design. I have used my e-Craft to make the text for the Happy Birthday and have used the same coordinations card for this. This is the card I made for my Husband for his birthday in April. I was really pleased with how this card turned out. It is my DT card for the current challenge over on My Time To Craft . The image I coloured using Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter’s Companion   Humprey’s Corner . To be honest I coloured this image back in November at the Craftaganza with my first try of using the pens. I just loved them from the off!!!! I have added a ‘bunch’ of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and added some stickles. Other items added to this card include: Ribbon from the Ribbon Box . Punched details using My Woodware heart border bunch and Martha Stewart ribbon boarder punch. Pearls from the Ribbon Box. Stamped greeting from Cuddly Buddly and I have added this onto a spelbinders label detail. Hi all this card I have made for my Cousin’s Daughter’s 3rd Birthday. I coloured this image back in February when we met up with the Girls From our Crafter’s Companion FB Group. I was really pleased with my colouring and it looks good on the card too. I’m getting there with my shading techniques. The colouring medium I have used is my Spectrum Noir Pens I just love these pens they are so easy to use!! I have used papers from the 1st Humprey CD from Crafter’s Companion . The Humprey’s Corner Range from Crafter’s Companion is just so cute!!! Thanks for stopping by again Rachel

Here's a few cards I have made using the Humprey Corner Christmas CD from Crafter's Companion. I think Humprey is just adorable. Like I say these are made using the Card Companions section on the cd.I have a few more printed out but haven't made them up yet. I will add these ones when I have finished them.
