Beading Time

This is the necklace, earings and memory wire bracelet I made at the Craftaganza using the Knotted Cord and Memory Wire Kit from Beaders Companion . You cn get this Kit in Teal (mine), Purple (which I also have but haven't made yet!!), Brown and Green. Sorry the picture's not the best. I didn't have a display bust. This Kit is excellent to use and the beads are wonderful, each bead is hand made, and has been hand picked from India when Sarah and Sara had a trip ove there. The kit gives excellent instructions as to how you can make the projects. But as we found out at the Craftaganza everyone can make different and unique projects. Hope you like it and why not pop over to Beader's Companion to have a look at all of the lovely beads. Happy Crafting Rachel

But for now here's the ones I have done so far. Thanks for stopping by again xxx Rachel xxx

Cute Companions Hanging Bauble Side Stepper

For this card I have made a stepper card for the base. I have printed a backing paper from the Cute Companions Christmas Collection CD. I have matted this onto some blue card onto each of the sections rounding the corners. I stamped one of the bauble images and coloured using copics. I then cut oit out using a nestie and sprayed with spray and sparkle and spray and shine to give a glass like look. I matted this onto a silver nesie shape and before sticking the panel don attached some ribbon to the back. The bauble hangs loose. I finished off with a ribbon bow. I have also added a snowflake gain created on the cuttlebug and added a jewelled brad. I have attached a couple of sentiments to the card. xx Rachel xx

Were Walking In the Air!!!

Here's a few Snowman cards I made in September using My Crafter's Companion Snowman and Walking in the air CD's. Just didn't get round to blogging. For this first card I have used a Papermania Scalloped edge 8x8" base card. I have matted a BP from the Snowman CD onto some Mirror card. The topper is printed onto some whiten linen card and I have matted this onto some teal blue card stock. The image has be decoupaged and I have added some irredesent spray and sparkle. I have finished the card with some ribbon, snoflakes and a peel off greeting. Again for this card I have used a papermania scalloped edge card base. Matted the packing paper onto some teal car and then mirror card. I have rounded each of these corners with my corner punch. Again the snowman is printed onto some linen card and then decoupaged up. I have matted this onto teal card again and added stickles gliter to The Snowman. I have created a snowflake usinng my cuttlebug with silver mirro

Making Christmas Cards with Sophie

My niece was looking at the card in my previous post and decided she wanted to make one for her Mammy for Christmas. She wanted a chirstmas tree so we looked through my Tatty Teddy CD and she choose one of the images. Next Sophie ran the individual sections through the Grand Calibur. She then stuck the sections together. Then here's her with the completed card. The finished card I think you will all agree she has done a grand job for being 3 xxxx Hugs Rachel and Sophie xxxx

SWALK Snowballing fun

Well I bet you all thought I had vanished off the face of the earth as I have been a naughty blogger again. I have been busy making Jewellery as well as having a change of Jobs so haven't had much chance for card making and now I am in a panic as I still have loads of christmas cards to make. Well here's christmas card number 20!! I will pop back sometime to upload cards 3-19 as so far this is only the 3rd christmas card I have posted. So here it is: I have used my swalk Kisses from heavan stamp and coloured with promarkers and copics. I am quite pleased with the colouring but not 100% happy as I know one can achieve better colouring finishes after having had a play with Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter's Companion at the craftaganza this weekend. I must get these pens for my collection as it is much more cost effective than copics and promarkers and I love the fact they are in the colou sets so you get the colours that blend more effectively. I sometimes struggle to
