Rachel's Cards and Crafts

Hi all well you may have seen that there are some new embossing folders being released by the wonderful Crafter’s Companion called Embossalicious . There are 12 in total, 6 of each size in 2 sizes 6x6 8x8   I have been working on some samples with the Art Deco 8x8 Frame folder. I think it’s fab!! Here’s my card I have made: I have used the new Core’dinations super assortment – limited edition 12x12 pack for my matts and layers. I have distressed the edges using my sand it gadget . The border strip is one of the wonderful Die’sire borders and I have again used some core’dinations which I have sanded. I used a strip of pre printed paper which I think was from the Paintbox Poppets cd. The image is from the wonderful Strawberry Kisses range and I have stamped onto Neenah Card Stock and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. Hi all well the theme for the Crafter’s Companion Monthly Challenge is Gold. Inspired by our success at the Olympics this year. This is the card I made for the challenge. It’s a gold and red card as you can see. I have used one of the lovely new Christmas Strawberry Kisses Stamps. Isn’t that cat just so adorable!!! I have stamped onto Neenah Card Stock  and coloured using my Spectrum Noir Pens. The Poinsettia dies and scalloped shapes are from Marianne and I have used distress inks to highlight the detailing of the embossing. I also used the same distress ink on the lace so it would tie in with the card theme. I have used my Woodware Border punch to create the border strip and I have monted this onto gold mirror card and added two different ribbons for detail. The backing paper on the card is from the SWALK winter collection CD. The corner plates are from Wild Orchid Crafts . I am entering this card into the following challenges: Papertake Weekly ...

Hi all, i’m really sorry for deserting you all and not sharing the rest of my Strawberry Kisses sneak peaks last week but I have just not been myself again. Hi all Today I have a wonderful new range to share with you!!! Crafter’s Companion are extending their Strawberry Kisses range and are launching 12  new stamps with a christmas theme. They are so cute!!! I have made a few samples and this is the first one I would like to share with you. Isn’t this cat just so adorable? I just love her. The stamps are wonderful to colour and of course I have used my Spectrum Noir pens. The Core’dinations collection I have used for this one is so mod. Hi all as you may have been aware from a previous post I was chosen to join the wonderful DT along at My Time to Craft. I am so grateful to have been given this position and will be inspired to create many much needed cards for my family and friends as well as those to sell.  After having been notified on Sunday I had been given this position I got straight onto making my first DT card before going out for my last night shift. This is the card I have made.  I have made this card for an order I had. The customer wanted a Mother's Day card and she wanted a butterfly and floral theme. The brief for the challenge this time was perfect for this card. I have used backing papers and embelishments from the Crafter's Companion Strawberry Kisses CD. The stamped image is from Dimension Forth and I have coloured this with spectrum noir pens which was stamped onto neenah card stock. Matts are coordinations from the brights section. I must admit I am happier with the colouring on this one compare to the previous one. This is the card I have made for the Crafter's Companion News Blog Challenge - Share the Love and Win . I have used the sketch from Mojo Monday Challenge 224 .  I decided to use the cute stamped image of Snow and Pup from the new Starwberry Kisses range from Crafter's Companion. I cut out the hearts with my eCraft and stamped the image onto some Neenah Cardstock, which I then coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens. Just loving this stamp collection and my Spectrum Noir pens set. The backing papers and embelishments are all from the Strawberry Kisses CD Rom.  I have added the peel off greeting, ribbon and heart embelishments from my stash. This is the card I have made for my Brother-in-Law and his girlfriend for moving into their first home together. I have used my new Strawberry Kisses Stamp and CD range from Crafter's Companion . This stamp is called Together . How cute is this image? I have coloured with my now full range of Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter's Companion and I must say I'm quite pleased with my attempt at colouring on this one. These images are really easy to colour. I used my ECraft to cut the new home sentiment out of coordinations card stock. All of the matts and die cut matts are also coordinations card stock too. I have distressed the edges of the cardstock and backing papers.
