Meadow Cottage Bear Boxed Birthday Card

Hi all well i’m back. Blogging going well so far this year!!!! This is the card I have made for My Mother for her birthday. I have used my Meadow Cottage Bears Hunkydory kit from Crafter’s Companion . I have used an 8x8 scalloped base card and made this into an easy easel. I have matted using gold mirror card to coordinate with the foil detailing on the cardstock. As you can see I have created a double bow using some organza ribbon and my Ultimate Pro . I then added some flowers for details through the knot. Then placed some additional flowers above. I decided that this card deserved a lovely box. I created the box using The Boxer Board . I have made it an inch deep. The card stock used for the box was Snow White Accents cardstock . I have embelished using elements from the card kit, flowers, ribbon and a punched Martha Stewart Butterfly. The whole box and card coordinate beautifully. Right then best be off. I will be back later with more Cre

Garnet and Gold Crystal Jewellery Set

Hi all It’s my Mother’s birthday today and I have made her a co-ordinating jewellery set comprising of a bracelet, necklace and earrings.   Here’s the complete set. I have used 8mm, 6mm and 4mm Garnet Crystal Rounds along with AB gold and garnet size 11 seed beads.   The patterns I have used but altered slightly were from Linda’s Beading Designs . These were: Jasmine Bracelet and Roman Necklace   Here’s a close up of the necklace pendant   The Bracelet I am really happy with. Here it is The detail on this bracelet looks very classy. It looks very expensive in the flesh.   Here it is a little closer   And the earrings   The supplies for these items have come from my favourite shop Rosarama Beadcraft .   I have used fireline 8lb in crystal as my stringing material. I love fireline as it is a strong thread however it’s not too thick for when having to weave through the beads multiple times.   Well that’s it for now.   As usual thanks for popping by. Hugs

A few pieces of Jewellery I have made

The first one is a peanut spiral. This is made using peanut beads, size 8 seed beads and Accent beads. I have used fireline 8lb crystal as my stringing medium and finished with a bar clasp. This is so quick to make and so effective.   The next is a pearly spiral. I must admit I made this all the way back in November!!! How naughty. This is made using size 11 seed beads, 4mm crystals and pearls. Again I have used fireline 8lb but in smoke this time. I have used wire protectors and a fancy bar clasp to finish.   This next one is a variation of the pearly spiral however I have used 4mm cube beads instead of the pearls and crystals and size 9 seed beads. It’s amazing the different look by just changing the beads.   This next one is a herringbone spiral.   It’s made using size 9 seed beads and s
