A few more Right Angle Weave Bracelets

Hi all like I said in my last post I have been making some more bracelets on a crafty day with my Mam. We both made two each.

I love how yummy these bracelets look. They look fab in pearls and crystals.

Will have to have an experiment with different beads sometime.

Well that’s it for now. Bed time for me now.

Right Angle Weave Teal and Silver Pearl Set

Hi all I'm back again with another jewellery creation to share with you.

This set is made with teal 8mm and light silver 4mm glass pearl beads. I have also used AB size 11/0 seed beads. The necklace is a choker style and matching bracelet. Both have silver plated lobster clasps and extension chains. I have made a matching pair of earrings too.

I am loving this right angled weave pattern at the moment. I have made a few separate bracelets which I will share with you on another blog post.

Thanks very much for stopping by

Sneak Peak No 4

Hi all well I’ve another sneak peak of the Blooming A-May-Zing CD for you.

Today’s the day to be watching over on Create and Craft at 8pm. They will be doing a world Launch of the CD all the way from CHA!!!!!

I have used the toppers section of the CD for my card here.

The embossed section I have done using the A4 plate which came with the Ebosser.

This card is a quick shaped card which I have printed onto Snow White Centura Pearl Card Gold tone.

I printed a one of the design sheets onto the reverse. I also printed an A6 Note paper for the inside with a verse.

Embellished with Ribbon – coloured with Spectrum Noir CR9, then added some gems.

Well that’s it again for now.

Happy Crafting!!!!

Meadow Cottage Bear Boxed Birthday Card

Hi all well i’m back. Blogging going well so far this year!!!!

This is the card I have made for My Mother for her birthday. I have used my Meadow Cottage Bears Hunkydory kit from Crafter’s Companion.

I have used an 8x8 scalloped base card and made this into an easy easel. I have matted using gold mirror card to coordinate with the foil detailing on the cardstock.

As you can see I have created a double bow using some organza ribbon and my Ultimate Pro. I then added some flowers for details through the knot. Then placed some additional flowers above.

I decided that this card deserved a lovely box.

I created the box using The Boxer Board. I have made it an inch deep. The card stock used for the box was Snow White Accents cardstock.
I have embelished using elements from the card kit, flowers, ribbon and a punched Martha Stewart Butterfly.

The whole box and card coordinate beautifully.

Right then best be off. I will be back later with more Creations.
Happy Crafting all

Sneak Peak No3: Nigels’s Blooming A-May-Zing!!!!

Hi all well I’m back to share with you another sneak peak from the wonderful Blooming A-May-Zing CD.

This time I have 2 samples for you to look at.

Here’s the first

This one is an A6 scalloped edge card matted with Core’dinations and one of the pretty design set backing papers printed onto satin finish paper from Crafter’s Companion. The topper is from the elements section on the cd and I have printed this onto printable light card from Crafter’s Companion.

I have cut a circle using a spellbinders die and some fancy corners using one of the D-Lites dies from spellbinders. Finally I have added some roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The next card is a shaped card.

The main card has been printed onto Watercolour card from Crafter’s Companion. I printed on the reverse of the card a coordinating design from the cd. The insert has been made using printable vellum paper from Crafter’s Companion.

I have made a charm using one of the designs in the ephiphany section on the cd and a Metal Embelishment Setting.

For finishing touches I have added ribbon and star dust stickles.

Don’t forget to tune into the show on Monday at 8pm on Create and Craft Live from CHA in Florida, USA for the launch of the range.

That’s it for now. I will be back later with more blog posts.

Take care all

Garnet and Gold Crystal Jewellery Set

Hi all

It’s my Mother’s birthday today and I have made her a co-ordinating jewellery set comprising of a bracelet, necklace and earrings.

Here’s the complete set.

I have used 8mm, 6mm and 4mm Garnet Crystal Rounds along with AB gold and garnet size 11 seed beads.

The patterns I have used but altered slightly were from Linda’s Beading Designs. These were:

Jasmine Bracelet

Roman Necklace

Here’s a close up of the necklace pendant

The Bracelet I am really happy with. Here it is

The detail on this bracelet looks very classy. It looks very expensive in the flesh.

Here it is a little closer

And the earrings

The supplies for these items have come from my favourite shop Rosarama Beadcraft.

I have used fireline 8lb in crystal as my stringing material. I love fireline as it is a strong thread however it’s not too thick for when having to weave through the beads multiple times.

Well that’s it for now.

As usual thanks for popping by.

A few pieces of Jewellery I have made

Hi all I just wanted to share with you a few pieces of jewellery I have made recently and some not so recent. I have been a naughty blogger and not shared them with you but I am now.

The first one is a peanut spiral.

This is made using peanut beads, size 8 seed beads and Accent beads. I have used fireline 8lb crystal as my stringing medium and finished with a bar clasp. This is so quick to make and so effective.

The next is a pearly spiral. I must admit I made this all the way back in November!!! How naughty.

This is made using size 11 seed beads, 4mm crystals and pearls. Again I have used fireline 8lb but in smoke this time. I have used wire protectors and a fancy bar clasp to finish.

This next one is a variation of the pearly spiral however I have used 4mm cube beads instead of the pearls and crystals and size 9 seed beads.

It’s amazing the different look by just changing the beads.

This next one is a herringbone spiral.

It’s made using size 9 seed beads and size 8’s. It is a little bit time consuming to make it but so effective!!

Next I have made a Cellini spiral necklace to match one of my favourite Joe Brown Tunic tops.

I just love this necklace it is fantastic. Looks really good with my top too. I wouldn’t like to think how many beads has gone into this but I do know that for the crystals alone it took 3.5 pots and there’s 100 in a pot!! I have used 4mm crystals, 4mm cubes, size 9, 8, and 11 seed beads. In total there are 8 different beads. I have finished this with a very nice copper clasp and bead cones.

I have a few bracelets for you now. The first being a heart embellished bracelet.

As you can see both sides of this bracelet look nice. This was made using 4mm crystals, delicas and size 15 seed beads and one 6mm pearl.

Next I have a few cube bracelets for you.

I just love making these. Changing the colours of beads can give a totally different effect. They are made with 4mm cubes, size 8 and 11 seed beads, spacer disks and one has 4mm silver pearls.

Next is a very sparkly bracelet. A Shamballa which are very fashionable at the minute.

I have made quite a few of these as gifts and to sell but haven’t taken any photos.

This next one is a memory wire bracelet.

It is made with 4mm crystals, haematite beads and metal spacers.

Most of the beads etcs I have used to make my creations have been purchased from my local craft shop Rosarama Beadcraft  I just love the range of beads they have and the quality is second to none.

Well that’s it for now. I promise in the year 2013 to be a better blogger and share with you my crafty creations as completed.

Hugs Rachel
