A few card kit cards

Hi all Well the last couple of days my Mother and I have had time to create a handful of cards. I've decided to work through all the card kits I have and make cards with them before buying anymore. I have a lot of them!!! Here's my stash.  These are the everyday/birthday ones.  And my Christmas ones Rediculous aren't they. Well I'm going to work through a pack at a time until there all done. Well we have made a start on the Hunkydory All the Girls kit. Here's the cards.  They may be quite simple but I quite like them and sometimes the simpler cards are ok sellers as they are more reasonably priced.  Well I'm off to make some more. Hope you all have a great evening.  Hugs Rachel

Some new jewellery playing this weekend

Hi all. Well my plan on Friday was to make some Christmas cards but that didn't happen as the day didn't go according to plan. I haven't been slacking this weekend though as I've still been creative.  I've been trying out some new techniques. The first on Saturday afternoon  was learning how to make jewel enamel pendants etc with some fellow jewellery makers. I also added resin to one of the pendants I made on Saturday.  I also used some resin in some moulds to create various pieces.  These two hearts have been coloured with perfect pearls and die.  These two I have added in some guiding flakes. OMG!! And the start of Christmas card making!!

Hi all well I've definitely been a naughty blogger this year. My aim at the beginning of the year was to blog more. Has that happened? Well I think we all know the answer to that one is a definite no!! 22nd February since my last blog and were now 22nd August. A full six months has past without a single blog. That just won't do!!!  Must try better!  Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Must try better! Well to get the ball rolling I'm starting making my Christmas cards. Here's a quick one I made yesterday with my lili of the valley art pad and paper pad. I have used distress ink to give that more vintage look.  The base card is made using my new crafts too side stepper die. I just love how quick it is to use!! Well I have a bit of crafty time this morning and this evening so my aim is to make at least 3 Christmas cards. Wish me good luck.  Take care all and happy crafting Rachel xx
