Rachel's Cards and Crafts

These are a few cards I have been working on using cd’s in the Debbi Moore range. I love a bit of glitter and glitz from time to time (and what girl doesn’t!), and these cards certainly do have glitter!!!     The first card is a rocker style     I have used the Debbi Moore One Fine Lady CD for this one. I love the rich reds, the image and papers are simply stunning. The base card and topper base have been die cut using the Spellbinders large oval scallops from the Grand Nestabilities range. I have finally added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and xmas red stickles glitter glue and a few pearls from the ribbon box . This next card has been made using the Debbi Moore Art Deco Galaxy CD .     I decided to use blue tones for this card and to complement have chosen gold mirror card and navy base card stock. Hi all Well this weeks challenge over on My Time To Craft is to make an easel card. I must say the DT have made a great lot of cards so why not pop over and check them out. On for my card, I have used my Debbi Moore Art Deco Galaxy CD for this one. Just love this image. I have used the decoupage sheet which I have layered up using Collall Glue Gel from Crafter’s Companion . This is matted onto some glitter card. Papers are from the cd. I have also printed one of the design sheets and created an embellishment for the bottom section of the card. The ribbon strips on the design sheet I have mounted onto gold mirror card and attached these onto the main section before adding my main image. The flowers are from Hobby Craft and I have sprayed these with gold spray and sparkle from Crafter’s Companion . Finally I have added gold pearls and platinum stickles for added glitz. Hi all here's my creation from last week. It was my Mam's 60th Birthday on friday so wanted to make something special for her. She loves the Debbi Moore art deco cd's so I decided to use the Art Deco Galaxy CD Rom which is in collaboration with the Glitter Girls. I love the way this set has worked out.   The card stands open and all panels are displayed. I have used A4 pearl card and created 2 pieces with tri folds I mounted another piece of card to the centre section to mount these together. My Mam's birth stone is Garnet and her deco in her room is Burgandy so I chose the burgandy colour scheme for her card. I have made each end panel section symetrical. The chocolate box ribbon detail I found a tutorial on Facebook on the I'm a Crafter's Companion Group by (Will add name later as using my mobile broadband and facebook wont load). Hi Today (well actually it was yesterday as it's now after midnight) I have been decorating some candles with various images which I printed onto tissue paper and then melted these onto the candle.  I have also decorated these with stickles and ribbon. These are for a stall we are having in the morning at Wansbeck Hospital raising funds for the Special Care Baby Unit. Here's the first ones, I have used my Forever Friends CD from DoCrafts for these images. These next Candles I have used the Flower Fairies Christmas Tree and Holly CD from Crafter's Companion.
