In the Night Garden

This card is for an order I have been given. The lady wanted a card with an In the Night Garden theme and Igglepiggle for her Grandson. I found images on the internet and decoupaged the bottom pannel and added peel offs to this. Igglepiggle has been mounted onto white card which I have embossed using my dotty folder in my cuttlebug and then matted this onto co-ordinating blue card stock. The base card was from my cardstock stash which I have made a 21cm square card with. I then added peel off stars to finish the card off. Thanks for looking Hugs Rachel

Double challenge card

I have decided to combine two challenges for this card. Cute Card Thursday Challenge 20 - Things That Grow CPS #75 The card itself is 21x21cm. I have used a penny black stamped image and coloured this with pencils and blended with Sansodor. The image is then matted onto gold mirror card. The papers I have used are from the Shabby Princess Promise collection free download. I have then added an embelishment which reads 'you fill my life with whole bunches of love' and some heart gems.

I do....... with a twist!!

This is the card I have made for the daring card makers mid week challenge . The brief was to make a wedding card using bright clours and not traditional whites, creams and silver. I decided to use a bella image for mine. Coloured it with pencils and blended with sansodor. I used a funky fairy download paper and coordinating blue cards which i ran through my cuttlebug and dotty folder. I then added ribbon detail and on your wedding day peel of greeting.

A Card For Von

This is a card I sent Von from the Crafters Companion Forum as I couldn't resist after a comment she left for me on some of my cards. She said they looked sweet and a bit like cookies if they had been brown. The backing paper and image are from Robert Adams Sugar and Spice CD Rom. I took the image of the bear into 3d2 Card Builder and made it into a pyramiage. I think this is a very cute, cuddly sweet card. Hope you like Rachel xx

Hedgie and Robin

This time I have used a Penny Black Stamped image. I love the expression on the Hedgehogs face, don't you? The image is again cloured with pencils and blended with Sansodor. I have matted it onto some red mirror card and then layred up some Shabby Princess papers.

I have finally added two star gems for an accent.

I have used Shabby Princess backing papers and matted these onto silver mirror card. The flowers are my new Prima Got Prints paper flowers and I have added co-ordinating brads. Hope you like it as I do. Hugs Rachel xx

Wine anyone?

I loved this image I just had to do it for my work colleague's birthday. She likes a glass of wine or two of an evening and I actually thought the elegance of Bella resembles her. The backing papers are a Shabby Princess one and a Cuddly Buddly one which I have adapted the colour wit my graphics program. The layout is from yesterday Arty Girls sketch challenge which I have adapted slightly by making an A5 card instead of the square one. I was going to use this one to enter into the challenge but then decided to make another, my 'star fairy' card. Hope you like and have a great day. Hugs Rachel xx

Thanks for looking and hope you have a good day. Hugs Rachel

True Love Anniversary

Well I must say I am really pleased with how this card has turned out. It is my husbands anniversary card for our 2nd Anniversary on Tuesday 8th July. The card is A4 in size when closed and opens out to a gatefold popout card. I have used silver mirror card and pearl card as the base cards. Embossed the two front pannels with my hearts cuttlebug folder. The images are from the Cuddly Buddly True Love download and the papers are Cuddly Buddly Downloads Patchwork Pink and the Kids Paper Pack. I have made a pop out heart and edged this with silver heart peel off's. Then have attached two of the images into the hearts with ribbon so they hang loose. I also added ribbon to the front of the card before adding the mirror card so I could tie a bow. Thanks for looking. Hugs Rachel xx

Santa's Ready

Again this image and backing papers are from Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Christmas CD Rom. I have gone for a more unusual shaped card this time as the bottom image shows. I started with covering the back pannel with one of the backing sheets and then the other co-ordinating sheet over the 'mountain' section of the card. Next I mounted the image onto a silver holographic card. I finished the card by adding some peel offs and a ribbon embelishment. I am really pleased with how this card has turned out as it is the first time I have done a card layout like this.

I have used a yellow flower ribbon brad and zinggy orange ribbon to accent and then finally finished some floral gems.
