Rachel's Cards and Crafts

Hi all. Well I've been absent again. I've had a hospital admission and then been resting up. I've been doing a bit of creating but just forgot to blog.  Firstly I've made a couple of cards this past week. Both wonderful Teddy Bo cards coloured with my spectrum noir pens and pencils (on the second one).  This card was for my parents 40th wedding anniversary.  Then this one was for my stash of cards.  I have also been busy with Jewel Enamel again.  Here are the pendants I have created.  And this is what I have done with them so far whilst sitting with my feet up.  A bit of wire wrapping on the first couple.  Added a simple chain to a few.  A filled bezel and chain on these ones.  I have created some beads with the coiling gizmo for this one. Wow I'm so excited. That time has come for our first challenge over on Just Inspirational Challenges. This weeks challenge involves using the following sketch along with a theme of Love e.g. a Wedding, anniversary or card for a loved one. The design team have pulled out all the stops this time and created some wonderful cards!!! Here's the sketch: Here is my card. I made this for a dear colleagues 25th Wedding Anniversary. I was delighted with how it has turned out and she loved it too which is even better. The backing papers are from my Barely Mine Design Extreme CD. I have used 3 different designs, all colour coordinating. I then stamped and coloured my magnolia images using copics. I cut a circle matt using my cuttlebug and nesties for the Chocolate Heart Box. The Longing Tilda stamp was then placed as if she is resting on the box. I have added silver glitter detail to the bow and a silver 25 peel off too. I added some stickles glitter to the 'chocolates'...

This is the card I made for my Hubby for our Anniversary on Wednesday. This is a card for a recent order, Wedding Anniversary. This is simimlar to a card I made a while back but in pink this time. I have used cream pearl card stock and pink floral foiled card and silver mirror card. The butterflies are Card Creations which I have 'decoupaged' to make look a bit more realistic.
