Mullberry and Die’sire sneaks

Well today I have a couple of sneak peaks for you of the wonderful new ranges being launched by the one and only Crafter’s Companion. The first one is another of the wonderful Mullberry Wood’s Stamped card.

005

This one I have used 2 papers from the CD and matted these onto core’dinations card stock. I have taken one of my Marriane dies and cut out a matt for the stamped image to sit on. I distressed the edges of the matt to show the red core coming through.

I have stamped the image onto Neenah Card Stock and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.

Finally I added a ribbon detail, some gems and glitter.

The base card is a 6x6 scallope.

My next card is a Die’sire sample.

007

I have used the cute Morehead’s Wedding image for this card, stamped onto Neenah Card Stock and coloured once again using Spectrum Noir Pens. I sprayed the image with pink Spray and Sparkle.

To complete the card I have used backing papers from the CD and matt and layered using core’dinations card stocks. I have used the Ornamental Flower Frame and corners to add details, Along with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and stickles glitter glue.

Remember that the POD for the Mullbery wood stamps is launching at 9pm on Tuesday over on Ideal World and the Die’sire show is on 19th August on Create and Craft. Hope you have time to watch some of the shows.

Bye for now

Hugs Rachel

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
