Hi all and welcome to this very exciting blog hop for the launch of the new range from Crafter’s Companion – Angelica and Friend’s which is the 4 Day Deal on Create and Craft this week.

To say thank you to you all for hopping there way along everyone’s blogs there is a prize:

You have until Wednesday 6th Feb to leave a comment, winners will be announced on the Crafter’s Companion News blog Thursday 7th February.
There are many blogs you need to be hopping over to. If you have come from Taylor’s Blog Your going in the right direction.

Now it’s time for me to share with you my item I have created with this wonderful new range. I have used the stamp Just Like Mum to create a door plaque.

028w

I have painted an MDF base plate with undercoat and primer and then several coats of Pewter Plasti-Kote Fast Dry Enamel Paint. Onto this I then added some Core’dinations card stock from the Core Couture pad and a strip of ribbon. The letters have been printed from the Angelica and Friends CD in size 1 (Smallest size) I have sprayed these with iridescent spray and sparkle.
I have coloured the image with my spectrum noir pens and added a bit of glitter details to the shoes, necklace and hair piece. I have used a nestie to cut out the circle and scalloped matt. The letters and stamped image have been mounted using Collall Glue Gel. Finally I have decorated with some gems from the ribbon box.

I think I will be making more of these door plaques as they look so great.

Thanks for popping by my blog. If you hop over to Chrissie’s blog to see her inspirational piece from the new range.

Happy Hopping
Hugs Rachel
