Update and a few makes

Hi all. Well I've been absent again. I've had a hospital admission and then been resting up. I've been doing a bit of creating but just forgot to blog.

Firstly I've made a couple of cards this past week. Both wonderful Teddy Bo cards coloured with my spectrum noir pens and pencils (on the second one).

This card was for my parents 40th wedding anniversary.

Then this one was for my stash of cards.

I have also been busy with Jewel Enamel again.

Here are the pendants I have created.

And this is what I have done with them so far whilst sitting with my feet up.

A bit of wire wrapping on the first couple.

Added a simple chain to a few.

A filled bezel and chain on these ones.

I have created some beads with the coiling gizmo for this one. I just love the pattern created on the pendant on this one though.

I have created a chain with eye pins and beads for these ones.

These next few are simple bead stringing but I love how they have turned out.

This one has amethyst beads as well as crystal rondells.

And this one I made a while back but didn't share. It's black agate and rondelle spacer beads.

This is a set I finished last week too. It's been on the go for a few weeks. It was delayed to to being on night shift and then in hospital.

Necklace and earrings.

Ring

And Bracelet

This is a Right Angled Weave Bracelet I have made. It has purple central beads with cream pearl beads and ab bronze seed beads finished with a gold lobster clasp and extension chain.

Then finally a wire wrapped ring.

Well that's it for now. I'll be back soon.

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
