WOYWW

Hi everyone I thought I would join in this week for the first time. At the moment my house is upside down after having the heating done, the kitchen is ripped out and hubby has put our old kitchen wall units in my craft room. So I am in the middle of getting things sorted in my craft room again, as well as everything else I have going on. This is what it is looking like at the moment.
As you can see from the above two piccys, I have loads of things lying around. The Ikea bag has in my new brackets waiting to go on the wayy and some jars. The bin is overflowing lol with stuff I have been throwing out. Why I didn't just get a black bin bag I don't know. I obviously didn't realise I had so much cr**p lying around like all us crafters do!!!
This piccy below is of my pens, pencils and tools etc ready to go onto the bracket when hubby gets round to putting them up. The ribbon tin is waiting to get sorted into my jars etc.

This one is my computer space which is a mess too as I am busy writing my assignment for uni and have loads of paper and files around. This is due in on 18th so must get it finished.

Well that's it for me this time, so why not pop over to Stamping Ground and have a nosey around everyone else spaces and join in.

Hugs from the forever busy Rachel xxxxxxxx

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
