Were Walking In the Air!!!

Here's a few Snowman cards I made in September using My Crafter's Companion Snowman and Walking in the air CD's. Just didn't get round to blogging.

For this first card I have used a Papermania Scalloped edge 8x8" base card. I have matted a BP from the Snowman CD onto some Mirror card. The topper is printed onto some whiten linen card and I have matted this onto some teal blue card stock. The image has be decoupaged and I have added some irredesent spray and sparkle. I have finished the card with some ribbon, snoflakes and a peel off greeting.

Again for this card I have used a papermania scalloped edge card base. Matted the packing paper onto some teal car and then mirror card. I have rounded each of these corners with my corner punch. Again the snowman is printed onto some linen card and then decoupaged up. I have matted this onto teal card again and added stickles gliter to The Snowman. I have created a snowflake usinng my cuttlebug with silver mirror and white card. I have attched a silver gem brad to this. A peel off greeting finishes the card.

This next card I have used a backing paper from the CD and matted this onto some silver mirror card. I have stamped the snow man image onto the card and ran this through my cuttlebug and created the nestie shape. I have added some stickles glitter to this. I have stamped a greeting which I also created a nestie shpe with. Ribbon bows and peeloffs have been added to this card also. I must say I do like the side stepper effect cards.

My final card in this post is an easel card. I have used a teal base card and folded into the easel shape. Then I have attached some backing paper to silver mirror card. I have printed onto linen card again and decoupaged the image. This is matted onto silver and teal card. The image was then sprayed with irredescent spray and sparkle. I have attached a greeting as the stoppper from the cd.

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
