Tatty Teddy Father's Day Card

Hi everyone, long time no type. Bet you all thought I had vanished into thin air!!! Well I haven't, I just haven't been making much in the way of cards recently and if I have they have just been quick makes and didn't take a photo. Well i'm back now and intend to make a few cards a week as I need to have my stash built up and also get those all important christmas cards made.

Well here's the first card I have made. I have used one of the Tatty Teddy Decoupage kits for this card. I know I haven't had to use my imagination much but this kit was perfect for my Dad for his Father's Day card. I just love Tatty Teddy and adore this range of products from DoCrafts.

Hope you like him as I do. I love how this card has turned out even though it was a quick make. I have shaped the decoupage slightly and used glue gel for the depth. I have matted a couple of the sentiments onto some silver card stock and a silver sentiment peel of too.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for popping by and checking out my blog.

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
