Magnolia wedding sparkle and in flight

Hi all

Well what a busy few weeks i've had. I haven't been blogging but I have certainly been creating.

I spent  most of a week making things for my sister's wedding.. I am going to share quite a few photo's of them in this post. I have also attended a crafty workshop at Chloe's Creative Cards, made a Wedding Memory Candle, as well as a 1st Wedding Anniversary Frame and a baby plaque. Photos all to follow in separate posts. Then I have had some very busy days at my work as well as a shopping trip followed by the theater to see Chicago. Wow when you see it all written down you realise how busy you have been. Oh and how can I forget. I also was bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, lol.

Well then now for the photo's of my sister's wedding items.

1st I want to share with you the card I made for her. I must say I am really pleased with how this has turned out and my sister loved it too.

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was loo...
