Peter Rabbit Christmas and an eventful day!!!

Hi all, well here’s my card for today. I have used my Beatrix Potter A Winter’s Tale CD from Crafter’s Companion for the Backing Paper and Pyrimage.  It’s an 8” gatefold card base and I have used snow white centura pearl card . The pyrimage is mounted onto a snow white centura pearl and silver mirror scalloped oval which I have cut using my eCraft . I have also cut the Let it snow and snowflake on the eCraft too. To finish these details I have added some Stickles Glitter Glue. For the inside I have printed some more backing paper and an insert. The finishing details make all of the difference. I’m entering this card into Christmas Card Challenges . Right then your probably all wondering what the eventful day has been. Well this morning I slipped on my kitchen laminate and fractured my big toe. It’s very sore. I wasn’t going to go to A&E but after being advised I went. They haven’t been able to strap my toes due to where I have the fracture but have been advis...

Blooming Wonderful!!

My 4th card for today is a SWALK card. I have used the Daydream Believer stamp from the SWALK range from Crafter’s Companion . Coloured with my Spectrum Noir Pens. I have used a backing paper from the SWALK CD and a ribbon boarder. The matts are from my Core’dinations   SoMod 6x6 pad. The stamped sentiment is from the Paintbox Poppets range. I have coloured this with Speccy’s and added some iridescent Spray and Sparkle . Final finishing details have been added with pearls from the Ribbon Box and Glossy Accents . Hope you check back soon for the next addition to my blog. Thanks for stopping by this time Rachel xxxx

Poppet Dancing

This is my card for Tuesday Morning Sketches . I loved this sketch but have adapted it slightly. I used the Paintbox Poppet Stamp from Crafter’s Companion which I coloured on Friday . I am really pleased with how this image has turned out. I used Spectrum Noir Pens and coloured pencils blended with Sansador. The backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppet CD and I have matted this onto Core’dinations card. I have used the same card to cut out my Marianne Die to mount the stamped image onto. I have used one of the 5x7 Darcie Embossing Folders from Crafter’s Companion to emboss some Snow White Centura Pearl Card which has then been matted onto silver Card Stock. Finishing details include ribbon, pearls, stickles and a Sentiment from the CD. Well off to make another card. Take care all and I will be back soon. Hugs xxxx Rachel xxxx

‘Till Death Do Us Part’

The core’dinations has been embossed using a Darcy Embossing folder. I have added a couple of details by using flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls from The Ribbon Box . As well as adding a final touch using Star Dust Stickles. I am entering this card into the following challenges: There’s Magic in The Air Hope you like xx Rachel xx

A little Humprey Birthday Fun!!!!!

Hi all this is a card I have just finished this morning. I have used my adorable Humphrey’s Corner CD from Crafter’s Companion . I decided to choose one of the frame cards as I hadn’t made a one for a while. I just love this adorable image, they all look like there having so much fun at the party!!! I have matted the base onto some red cardstock, then matted onto coordinations card stock from the brights pad. I then chose a backing paper from the cd. I have also included an insert in the matching design. I have used my e-Craft to make the text for the Happy Birthday and have used the same coordinations card for this. I am entering this card into the following challenges: Charisma Cardz Challenges Creative Card Crew As usual thanks for stopping by. Rachel xxx

Latest Jewellery Makes

Hi all I’ve been a very naughty blogger again. I have been busty crafting but just haven’t been blogging!! I thought I would share with you today a few of my jewellery items I have been making. The first one is a herringbone spiral necklace made using size 8’s and 9 Seed beads finished with a glass heart catch. This next one is a cellini spiral made using size 6 seed beads and size 9’s. I have added a glass bead as detail in the centre and a decorative T Bar Catch. I must say I do like this design and will make another few of these experimenting with different sized beads etc. The next two are the same design but I have used different beads which gives them a completely different look. This first one I have used 4mm silver pearls, 4mm cubes, size 8 and 11 seed beads. And this one has 4mm crystals and 4mm cubes, size 8 and 11 seed beads. The same pattern but a totally different look in another colour. This piece is a herringbone bracelet I have made using size 9 and 11 seed b...

MTTC–It Takes Two

This is the card I made for my Husband for his birthday in April. I was really pleased with how this card turned out. It is my DT card for the current challenge over on My Time To Craft . The image I coloured using Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter’s Companion   Humprey’s Corner . To be honest I coloured this image back in November at the Craftaganza with my first try of using the pens. I just loved them from the off!!!! I have added a ‘bunch’ of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and added some stickles. Other items added to this card include: Ribbon from the Ribbon Box . Punched details using My Woodware heart border bunch and Martha Stewart ribbon boarder punch. Pearls from the Ribbon Box. Stamped greeting from Cuddly Buddly and I have added this onto a spelbinders label detail. The card layers are matted onto coordinations, red card and mirror card.   Thanks for stopping by Hugs Rachel xxxxxx
