Latest Jewellery Makes

Hi all I’ve been a very naughty blogger again. I have been busty crafting but just haven’t been blogging!!

I thought I would share with you today a few of my jewellery items I have been making.

The first one is a herringbone spiral necklace made using size 8’s and 9 Seed beads finished with a glass heart catch.

This next one is a cellini spiral made using size 6 seed beads and size 9’s. I have added a glass bead as detail in the centre and a decorative T Bar Catch. I must say I do like this design and will make another few of these experimenting with different sized beads etc.

The next two are the same design but I have used different beads which gives them a completely different look.

This first one I have used 4mm silver pearls, 4mm cubes, size 8 and 11 seed beads.

And this one has 4mm crystals and 4mm cubes, size 8 and 11 seed beads. The same pattern but a totally different look in another colour.

This piece is a herringbone bracelet I have made using size 9 and 11 seed beads and 4mm crystals.

The next two are memory wire sets, I went through a spell of making loads of memory wire jewellery and these are two of them.

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was loo...
