A Touch of Crystal Turquoise Temptation

Hi all sorry I haven’t blogged for a bit but back again to share with you a creation I have made this week. It’s a Memory Wire Bracelet and coordinating gift box.

I have used Rhinestone Beads, 6mm AB Crystal Bicones, 4mm silver pearls, Turquoise Silverlined disk and round beads, and shamballa heart beads on the pendants. I love memeory wire bracelets as they can be universal size to fit a range of wrist sizes. This bracelet is very sparkly in real life. I just love it.

Here’s the coordinating gift box.

The base of the box has been made using the Crafter’s Companion Boxer Board for the Ultimate Pro and Centura Pearl Snow White Card stock.

The flower was made using the Large and Small Rose, and leaf 1 Die’sire Dies from Crafter’s Companion. I embossed some Core’dinations cardstock using the a4 Embossing Folder which was inclusive with the Ebosser. I then cut two large rose and two small rose pieces from this, then used the sand it gadget to distress the embossing. After this I shaped the petals before quilling and building up the flower. Finally I made a beaded centre for the flower with a head pin, bead cap, crystal bead, flower cap and threaded this through the centre of the flower and secured on the back. I added some iridescent spray and sparkle to the flower. Next I die cut all four of the leaves on the die from silver mirror card. Finally I attached everything to the top of the box with Collall all purpose perminant glue.

Thanks very much for popping by and checking out my latest creation.

Hugs Rachel

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
