Fabulous Fashion for a Fab Friend!!

Hi all I had a great night last night. We went out for a meal and few drinks to celebrate Gail and My 31st Birthdays. It was Gail’s birthday on the 7th and it’s mine on the 18th so we decided to have a combined celebration.

I made her a card and necklace and gave these to her last night. She loved them both.

This is the card I made using Katy Sue Designs and House of Zandra Fabulous Fashion CD.

gail card

This is the first card I have made using this cd. I have been wanting it for a while but eventually got it at The Great Northern Papercrafts Show last Sunday. I am really pleased with the results and Gail and the rest of the girls thought it was Fab too which I was pleased about.

I used a variety of beads from my stash for this one, including bicones in various sizes, round glass pearls, Glass Beads and Crackle Class Beads. Also the findings are a ball head pin in gold, Gold Leaf Toggle Clasp, Gold 7 Strand Nylon Coated Wire, Crimp Beads and Collets. This has a real sparkle but I couldn’t get it to show up on the photo very much.

Mermaid Frame

Hello All I'm back again, This time to share a frame with you that I have created for my Niece.  The image was coloured in using my Spectrum Noir markers using the May 17 Markers Class from Kit and Clowder. This is the first one of their classes I've done and I was overall I was quite happy with it but I know a few areas where I could improve. Right then here's the coloured image.  The image is by Conie Fong and you can purchase them on Etsy. She has lots of other lovely images to choose from. Right then now for the completed frame. The frame started as a white frame which I painted with black gesso and then once dry added colour to it using dyna paints from pebeo and then some silver gilding wax. I then sprayed the frame to form a protective coating with Spray and Shine from Crafter's Companion.  I love how it have turned out and hope that my niece will too.  Right I'm going to enter this into the following challenges: ...
