Embossalicious Sneak Peaks

Hi all well you may have seen that there are some new embossing folders being released by the wonderful Crafter’s Companion called Embossalicious.

There are 12 in total, 6 of each size in 2 sizes

6x6

8x8

I have been working on some samples with the Art Deco 8x8 Frame folder. I think it’s fab!!

Here’s my card I have made:

wm Emboss

I have used the new Core’dinations super assortment – limited edition 12x12 pack for my matts and layers. I have distressed the edges using my sand it gadget.

The border strip is one of the wonderful Die’sire borders and I have again used some core’dinations which I have sanded.

I used a strip of pre printed paper which I think was from the Paintbox Poppets cd.

The image is from the wonderful Strawberry Kisses range and I have stamped onto Neenah Card Stock and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. I added a little bit of Star Dust Stickles for that have to have sparkle.

Finally I have added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Some pearls from the Ribbon Box.

The launch  of the Embossing folders will be on Create and Craft on the 1st October. Leann will be presenting the shows. Don’t forget to tune in.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Moving along with the times – Girly

The Cd Sunday Challenge Blog – Feline Friends

Well that’s it for now.

Take care all and thanks for popping by.

I will be back tomorrow with more sneak peaks.

Take care

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
