My Updated Craftroom

Well eventually managed to get my craft room sorted out. New fittings and fixtures from IKEA installed and filled. It still needs painted when we get around to doing the rest of the painting upstairs but it will do for now.
I took these picture on Wednesday night with the intension of uploading to my blog and WOYWW but didn't get around to it sorry. So here goes

This picture shows my punches, I have used an IKEA pan lid storage rack which I attached onto the wall instead of lying flat.

Here is the section with my shelf which houses all of my ribbons, flowers, gems, brads and eyelets.
The baskets underneath have my punches, glues and glitters!!!.

This one shows my spooled ribbons and bows.
The boxes underneath have all of my scrap card and papers (I know I need to use some of them lol)

This picture shows all of my pens, pencils and tools

This picture shows one of my work areas, nice and light infromt of the window.

Then finally my computer area (excuse the bags underneath)

Now I am looking forward to making a crafty mess in my organised room!!!

Thanks for stopping by

Mixed media clock

Hi all I'm back today to share a clock I've made.  I started it yesterday evening by adding the texture building stages using white crackle texture paste drying after. Then used various stencils and embossing paste. I dried this and then added a coat of black gesso and left it to dry over night.  This morning I added some colour onto it using Pebeo Dyna paints. I added die cut numbers cut out of silver mirror card. However I wasn't happy with it as it was too dark for what I wanted it for and thought the silver numbers didn't go with it. So I sat back and looked at it and decided I wanted it lighter.  Well no loss as out came my heavy white gesso and I gave it a good coating. Before adding the white gesso I sanded the numbers slightly so that the paint could adhere better and this also gave extra texture. I dried this off and added the Dyna paints again and some Art Alchemy Opal Magic in Rose Gold.  Well I felt much happier with how it was lookin

Birthday Card Trio

Hello all, I'm back again with another post for you. This time I've got three cards to show you.  These are all made with products from Crafter's Companion. The 1st is another dragon card made using one of the Lee Holland Dragon stamps. I love these little characters :) I've had coloured this using spectrum noir colour blend pencils. I just love how much of a fun looking card you can make with these stamps.    Next is a card made using a unicorn stamp. This has also been hand coloured with pencils. I've also used some backing papers and matt mirror and glitter card from Sara's Enchanted forest collection. Finally I've made a card using my Crafter's Companion BeBunni CD. It's a while since I've used this cd but I forgot how cute these little bunnies are.   All of the cards have been personalised with die cut numbers and letters for the names. Hope to see you all again soon. Rachel
