Singer 21st Birthday

This card is for another order request. The recipient is turning 21 and is a singer. I found this image on photobucket and thought it was perfect as it is very girly but not too young. I have used coordinating purple pearl and silver holographic cards for the based card and matts. The papers are from either pink petticoat or funky fairy can't remember which. The ribbon and sentiment peel off are from my stash. I have added some stickles glitter as highlights. The 2 and 1 are printed from a Crafter's Companion CD and I have matted these onto silver holographic card cut with my nestabilities and cuttlebug. I love how this card turned out. Rachel xx

Peppa Pig 2nd Birthday

This card was for another regular customer. Her Granddaughter was turning two and she loves pepper pig. I obtained this backing paper and decoupage image and this is what I came up with. I am not overall happy with the card I wish I had put some sort of border on now when I look at it again.

Beatrix Potter Tom Kitten Card

This card I have made using the Crafter's Companion Tom Kitten CD. The backing papers and borders were printed onto pearl card and the decoupage topper glossy photo paper. I have used a white pearl card for the base and silver holographic card for the matts. The buttons are from my stash and I have added some ribbon to these from my stash too. Sorry the photo isn't the best but the holographic card and photo paper were causing alot of reflection. Hugs Rachel xx

Sepia 90th Birthday Nanna

This one I was asked to make again for a regular customer. He supplied me with the sepia coloured photos and asked me to include the 4 photos on a sepia themed card. I used brown matts and coordinating papers, buttons and ribbon to fit the theme. The sentiment again printed on my PC with the customers own wording. The finished card is 8x8" in size.

Union Jack Money Wallet

This is a money wallet which I have made for a customer to send some Euro's in.  He requested a picture of the Union Jack. Simple but does the job.

Grazie Giovanna!!

This is another Thank You card to send to Italy. The recipient likes dogs so I thought what better than to use the dog from my new Jemima Puddleduck stamp collection from Crafter's Companion. I again coloured this using copics. I then used my nestibilities as a matt. The papers are from the Tom Kitten and Jemima Puddleduck coordinating papers section on the CD. I have used the bronze pearl card from Crafter's Companion as the base which I have folded the A4 sheet on the short side. The ribbon is by BasicBasic which I picked up from a craft show. Again the sentiment is printed on my PC.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge No.33

This is a card I have made for the sugar bowl challenge no.33 . I have used my new Sugar Nellie Blossom stamp which I bought a few months back. I know it's one of their older stamps but it's new to me lol. I have coloured using my Copics which I am getting slightly better at using! Taking time but getting there. I had run out of paper for my printer so dived into my bits box (which generally has full A4 sheets in, because I click and print with the intension of making a card with it to then not. I'm sure alot of us do!!) and came across these. I think they were originally printed from my Barely Mine Extreme Cd's. These have been matted and layered using cold mirror card. I have printed the sentiment which as you can see is thank you in Italian. I then cut this using my nestabilities and cuttlebug. Then have added brads for decoration. I have distressed the edges of the white card with some red ink. The ribbon is from the celebration range. Flowers are petaloo which ...

WOYWW

Hi everyone I thought I would join in this week for the first time. At the moment my house is upside down after having the heating done, the kitchen is ripped out and hubby has put our old kitchen wall units in my craft room. So I am in the middle of getting things sorted in my craft room again, as well as everything else I have going on. This is what it is looking like at the moment. As you can see from the above two piccys, I have loads of things lying around. The Ikea bag has in my new brackets waiting to go on the wayy and some jars. The bin is overflowing lol with stuff I have been throwing out. Why I didn't just get a black bin bag I don't know. I obviously didn't realise I had so much cr**p lying around like all us crafters do!!! This piccy below is of my pens, pencils and tools etc ready to go onto the bracket when hubby gets round to putting them up. The ribbon tin is waiting to get sorted into my jars etc. This one is my computer space which is a mess too as I a...

VW Campervan Wedding Invitation and Place Setting Samples

These are some samples I have been working on for an order of wedding invites and place settings. The happy couple wanted me to include pictures of VW Campervans on the items as they love them and a black and white theme. They didn't want 'traditional' invites as they said it was not their thing. These are what I have come up with to send to them. The first is an A6 card style with a printed invite inside. The second is what I am calling a 5x5" flop invite as it flops open when the ribbon band is removed to reveal the invite details. this is the front:   And the inside and ribbon band:  This one is a pocket tag style and is 6x6" The completed effect: The back of the tag and pocket: The front of the tag and pocket: Two place setting examples: Recipe silver holographic, black and white cardstock CD's for backing papers -bearly mine extreme & crafters companion Popcorn romance cd Ribbon - Dovecraft Gems - Stash Peel Offs - Stash Tools - Cuttl...

World Heart Valentines

This is a card I made last week for a valentines card order. I have used an image the gentleman supplied be with but have given it a red hue. The gentleman wanted to use the picture of the heart as his girlfriend lives in Italy. So he wanted to use the world globe to represent the world between them. This is what I came up with. I cut the heart out and added it as a second layer curving it to give the rounded effect. The backing paper came from my bearly mine extreme cd.
