An xmas walk in wonderland and cosy 'n' warm!!

Well on Wednesday whilst watching Sara and Jane on Create and Craft I was inspired to make some Christmas cards using last years Christmas cute companions whilst I waited eagerly for my Cute Companions Walk in Wonderland Bumper pack to arrive!!!

I made two lovely cards, which I must say I am really pleased with.

This is the first one. I used the village scene, mounted this onto some silver mirror card and a silver pearl card.

I then stamped some of the mice, the street lamp and two presents, then coloured these with watercolour pencils. I added some polar white flower soft and glamour dust to the village background, and then some additional glamour dust to the fur area's of the mouses coat.

The next card I have used the fireside scene which has been decoupaged.

Overall this card is 8x8" but has an a5 opening section. I have attached a panel on the left hand side consisting of gold mirror card, patterned paper and ribbon. I have then finished this card with a stamped greeting.

Mermaid Frame

Hello All I'm back again, This time to share a frame with you that I have created for my Niece. The image was coloured in using my Spectrum Noir markers using the May 17 Markers Class from Kit and Clowder. This is the first one of their classes I've done and I was overall I was quite happy with it but I know a few areas where I could improve. Right then here's the coloured image. The image is by Conie Fong and you can purchase them on Etsy. She has lots of other lovely images to choose from. Right then now for the completed frame. The frame started as a white frame which I painted with black gesso and then once dry added colour to it using dyna paints from pebeo and then some silver gilding wax. I then sprayed the frame to form a protective coating with Spray and Shine from Crafter's Companion. I love how it have turned out and hope that my niece will too.
